Each section of the trail varies in length from 70 to 230 meters linking a total of 10 platforms, making the total length of the trail 1.2km. The trail has been designed and built to South African civil engineering standards and all the equipment has been designed specifically for this activity and tried and tested worldwide. All groups are escorted by qualified guides. Participants meet at Perry’s Bridge Trading Post in Hazyview, to complete the necessary documentation before being kitted out and briefed. Guests are then transported to the starting point of the trail. I am aware that I am exposing myself to these by participating in the activities or transportation organized by the owner. The activity takes place in pristine indigenous forests where conservation is paramount. I understand it is an offense to interfere with, damage, pollute, or act in any way deemed to be detrimental to the environment. Should I fail to comply with any instructions in this regard thereby interfering with, damaging, and polluting the environment or act in any way deemed to be detrimental to the environment, such client may be removed from the tour, and no refund shall be made or claimable in respect of any fees and/or monies paid by the client to the owner. 2. The tour organized by the owner is a high-risk activity, taking place approximately 30 meters above the forest floor where one relies on equipment for safety. The structures have been engineered to the highest safety standards and approved by a registered civil engineer. All equipment is of the highest quality and standard. Traverse heights are excessive and clients must be aware that they are suspended on a steel cable with a pulley for a prolonged period. Clients must at all times remain clipped into the safety ropes/devices, and at no time whatsoever unclip any specific safety device on their own accord. Falling is an inherent danger if safety procedures are not adhered to. Any client failing to adhere to safety procedures and instructions may be removed from the tour and in such event and/or happening I may be removed from the tour and shall not be entitled to any refund or any monies paid by me in respect of the tour. All guides are fully trained and during the tour, clients are warned against known dangers. The cost of rescue in emergency situations, hospital, or medical treatment will be borne by the client. 3.
