On Water & In the Air Gauteng It's a fun adventure for individuals, couples, and families. Fly-fishing is a fun, clean (no grubby bait!) outdoor adventure in the open air. It is good exercise but you don’t have a high fitness level. The equipment and flies are available for hire, however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. This is a Private activity where we prefer to allocate a max of 2-3 fishers to one guide (same family/group). Experienced guides will patiently teach you the basic skills required for fly fishing and to assist with practical fishing guidance. The teaching is done in a fun and easy to understand manner. Guides are only available until 17h30. Fly fishing equipment supplied for the activity will only be available for the course of the event. Should guests like to use equipment after the activity is completed then they must complete a fishing permit/indemnity form and rent a rod as per the regular terms and conditions. Fly fishing is an outdoor event and we will still run events in windy, cold conditions. We also operate fly fishing in light rain which lends to the adventurous aspect. If cold weather or light rain is expected, then guests are recommended to bring raincoats or warm clothes. The events will only be canceled in the event of sustained bad weather or dangerous weather conditions. Bad weather = sustained heavy rain, snow or hail Dangerous weather = lightning or weather conditions that place guests in bodily danger. If an event is canceled due to bad or dangerous weather then the client has the option of a full refund or a credit that may be used within six months. BOOKING, DEPOSIT & RESERVATION * Once the Client has filled in the inquiry form, responded to an advertisement verbally or in writing or via e-mail or the Internet or has, without reference to any of the aforesaid, asked for more details (collectively referred to as ‘the Enquiry’) about a particular activity (‘the Activity' ) the Company will prepare and provide the Client with a quote (‘the Quotation’). PAYMENT & PAYMENT TERMS * The price as specified in the Quotation (the Price), is due and payable in full upon acceptance of the quotation. Failing such payment and return of the signed quotation, which will be deemed to be acceptance of the conditions, the booking will be taken to be provisional and is subject to cancellation by the Company at any time and the client will have no right of recourse against the company. In the event of cancellation, this payment may be deferred to a future booking at the discretion of Wine Valley Horse Trails. PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS * A 100% deposit or upfront credit card payment will confirm all bookings. No booking can be confirmed without the required proof of payment or credit card authorization. We accept all legal tender for payments. Payments can be made online when making a reservation. Telephonic reservations will require the completion of a credit card authorization form to secure booking. A 10% non-refundable admin fee will be charged for every booking canceled less than 30 days before your trip. In case of a natural disaster, flood, volcano, earthquake, hurricane, virus infection, or any other natural disaster, trips can be extended with no extra charge. If not extended and canceled, the 10% admin fee will be applicable. PRICE * Note that the company reserves the right to amend the price if an unreasonable time lapses between the date the Quotation is submitted to the client and the date it is returned to the company The onus will be on the client to check that there have been no changes in the price prior to making the full and final payment. However once payment of the price in full is received, price is guaranteed (subject to statutory increases such as VAT. Should it be a group booking and the group number deviates from the number required for the booking, the company reserves the right to re cost the Price and raise a surcharge or to reschedule. SPECIAL REQUESTS * Client, who has special requests, must specify such requests to the Company in writing. We will give you a warm welcome and a hot drink whilst we prepare your equipment and give a thorough briefing of the day's dive sites. We will then load up the boat and head out to the dive sites. In between dives we stop off at a beautiful location where you can hop off the boat to stretch your legs, have a toilet break, and have a hot chocolate and some snacks.
